Seaford Tigers Cricket Club was establsihed in 1990 as a subsidiary of Seaford Junior Football club. In season 2020/21 we celebrated our 30th year anniversary! The club is located at Belvedere Reserve, East Road, Seaford, next to Linen House.
The club started with two senior teams in 1990/1991 in the Federal District Cricket Association winning the premiership in the 5th grade competition. Season 1991/1992 saw the club expand to four senior and two junior teams with the first eleven winning back to back premierships in 1991/1992 and 1992/1993 in the A grade competion.
In 1994 the club entered the Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association, with the first eleven winning the premiership in sub district that year. The juniors have won two premeirships in the under 16 competion, the first in season 1999/2000 and again in 2002/2003.
In the clubs short history, the Tigers have experienced a considerable amount of on-field success and continue to grow as a club with hopes of more success in the future for both the senior and junior teams, and cementing itself as one of the premier clubs on the peninsula.
Today, our club consists of both senior and junior teams, with total membership of approximately 140 players. In 1990 we fielded 2 teams, whereas today we field 3 senior Saturday teams, 1 all abilities Sunday team and 4 junior teams.
