CRICKET VICTORIA COMMUNITY CRICKET COACH OF THE YEAR
A huge congratulations to Sally O'Meara who was awarded the Community Cricket Coach of the Year for Season 2024/25 at the Cricket Victoria Community Cricket Awards.
A dedicated coach and leader (U/10 Yellows, inaugural U13 girls team, and captain of the senior women's team) Sally is also a proactive committee member assisting with junior development and club sponsorship.
Sally has an infectious positive attitude, and brings a life long knowledge of cricket to her role.
Sally's prioritises making cricket fun & enjoyable for the kids with creative training sessions including beach sessions on hot days and continues to inspire her players with her commitment and approachability.
With a background in mental health services, Sally fosters a supportive environment for young minds, making her an invaluable member of our club.
